Wang Zhifa Attended Malaysia Pavilion Day Activities

Wang Zhifa, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration, received Datuk Seri Ng Yen Yen, Tourism Minister of Malaysia, and Malaysian delegation on behalf of the Chinese Government in Shanghai on September 12. Wang also took part in the activities launched on the Malaysia Pavilion Day in World Expo 2010 Shanghai.

The Expo serves as a stage to display world’s achievements in politics, economy, science & technology, and cultures, meanwhile as a platform for the exchanges and cooperation among countries, which will improve mutual understanding and the friendship between the peoples of Malaysia and China. Tourism exchange is a very good carrier for cultural transmission. As the Malaysian tourism promotion goes deeply, an increasing number of Chinese people will tour in Malaysia, said Wang during the interview with Ng Yen Yen and her delegation in the morning.

Ng Yen Yen expressed her hope that with the help of Shanghai World Expo 2010, more and more Chinese people would know Malaysia and travel to the country.
