Qinhuangdao

Qinhuangdao is a coastal city 300 kilometres east of Beijing on the Bo Hai Sea. The city has three districts or areas including Qinhuangdao proper, Shanhaiguan and Beidaihe. Qinhuangdao proper is a developing city which is strategically important to North East China, acting as a key port for coal shipping to other parts of China. The city has reinvented itself in recent times to provide a pleasant environment for its 3 million inhabitants including the award winning Tanghe River Park. The Tanghe River Park is a former rubbish dump which has been transformed into an eco friendly sustainable park for everyone to enjoy.
