Pullman Shanghai Skyway

Welcome: 9/10
I was treated like a VIP from the moment I arrived. The well-briefed staff knew their stuff and pointed out several Shanghai sightseeing highlights during the smooth check-in process.
Accommodation: 8/10
The room was simple with a modern twist, while the views were spectacular. After a hot and exhausting day of sightseeing, I enjoyed gazing out at the city lights in the evening from the full length windows and taking a relaxing soak in the oversized bathtub.
Service: 10/10
As it was my first time in Shanghai, staff went out of their way to recommend city attractions to me. They attended to my every need and even helped translate a few Chinese phrases. The staff always wore smiles and were attentive without being overbearing.
Facilities: 8/10
The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna, health club and full-service business centre. There is high-speed internet access in the rooms. Guests can choose from several in-house restaurants and bars, and can enjoy breakfast or an evening meal overlooking the city on the 39th floor. The hotel is also close to the city’s central business district as well as key tourist attractions.
Ambience: 8/10
The hotel maintains at least 80% occupancy all year round, and it’s no wonder given its ideal location and price. High ceilings and marble floors give the atmosphere of a top-end hotel, and the facilities are all state-of-the-art. The 5-star property is more opulent than many other business hotels.
Overall: 86%
The high quality service certainly warrants a mention; staff were always keen to help and delivered service with a smile. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the facilities were of a high standard. This place is recommended for those on a short stay who don’t want to break the bank. An overnight stay at the Pullman Shanghai Skyway starts from 2000 yuan ($321) for a superior room. For more information, visit www.accorhotels.com
